Christmas Crochet Hanging

Want something quick and easy to whip up for the holiday season? How about a crochet hanging for your door or wall?

I used the Corner To Corner crochet stitch to make my hanging. Most projects made with C2C are square. To make it a rectangle, simply decrease on only one side once you get to the width you'd like it to be. Continue to increase on the other side to make the project longer and then once you feel it's long enough, begin decreasing on that side too until it's complete.

I wanted to add many festive appliques to the hanging but I could not settle on a snowflake or santa face that I liked. I really looked and looked and I just didn't like any of them enough. So, I settled on a snowman.

With the hanging being in Christmas stripes, you can put whatever appliques you would like!
